Old Store Foundation Near Post Office Removed

During the past few weeks, the last remaining remnants of the foundation of the "old store" were removed by the owners of this parcel. The "old store" was a functioning grocery store during the 1940's and 1950's. It was demolished during the last 2 years but parts of the foundation remained. The store sat empty for many years behind the Post Office as many entered Huletts Landing. The new owners have begun construction on a new residence on the lot where the "old store" was located. This work is an improvement to the community and will be noticeable when you return to Huletts.
