Foster Brook Sediment Basin
During the Fall of 2002, the Town of Dresden through a grant from the Lake George Association undertook a restoration project in Foster Brook which will prevent sediment from flowing into Lake George. The area shown is located to the right of the entrance into the Protestant Church. While not directly involved with the project, we were happy to give access through our land to allow this work to be done. The Town of Dresden Highway Dept. issued a "special thank you to the Kapusinski(s) who allowed the Town to access the jobsite." The pictures below show the work.

Looking up the hill, while the stream bed was dry due to drought.

Looking out towards equipment in the entrance to the Protestant Church.

The completed project, looking down toward the Lake.
