What Gives Huletts Such Vibrant Fall Colors?

Becuse we experience such beautiful autumn colors in Huletts, people have asked what causes the leaves to turn such reds, purples, and yellows? The answer is the weather.

Huletts gets such vibrant colors because we have the perfect mix to create them. Cold temperatures and some rain will produce vibrant purples and reds. More sun and dry weather will cause the leaves to turn more orange and yellow. Any lengthy period of overcast skies with rain and cooler temperatures will bring out intense violets and reds. The best fall weather for leaves are overcast days with a little rain and cool temperatures. This gives a perfect mix because you get all three weather factors. However, because we're in the mountains and around water, we don't get plain old 75 degree days. We usually always get the perfect mix of sun, cold nights, and wet air to bring out the best.
